![]() Karl Liberatore (horns) has over 30 years of experience as a professional musician and clinician. He possesses not only an extensive knowledge of brass instruments, but is highly proficient in musical preparation, conducting and rehearsal techniques. A lifetime of discipline and dedication to music education and performance has instilled an ability to motivate others in a highly positive direction. Karl believes that music is an international language and he uses this skill to communicate effectively with any age group regardless of cultural background. Karl is a professional trumpet and flugelhorn player and performs regularly in the Atlanta area and across the nation. His flexibility and versatility spans all musical genres to include pop, jazz, fusion, classical and contemporary styles. Karl began his experience as a professional musician with the United States Army Band. He strengthened and broadened his musical horizons throughout the United States and Europe for over 20 years from 1991 to 1998. He finally settled in Atlanta area and is now a local celebrity and highly skilled clinician for both group and private instruction. Karl performs with four of the top popular show ensembles in town: The Gary Land Band, Rupert’s Orchestra, League of Decency, and Platinum. He also contributes his highly sought after talents to several prominent religious organizations: North Point Ministries, John’s Creek Baptist Church, and Christ the King. Karl has also had the honor to perform with such great artists as Barry Manilow, Lee Greenwood, Doc Severenson, Joni Mitchell, Aretha Franklin, Bob Curnow and many, many more. He studied extensively in Utah and The University of Oregon with William Sullivan, Bernard Dillon and Gerard Poe. In closing, Karl is of course a Member of the Atlanta Federation of Musicians, Local 148-162. |
